Biography

Assistant Professor of Periodontics Director, Postdoctoral Periodontics Program. Dr. Stathopoulou is an Assistant Professor and Director of the Postdoctoral Periodontics Program at Penn Dental Medicine. Her basic science interests focus on the interaction of periodontal pathogens with the innate immune system. Her clinical research interests include regeneration and treatment of peri-implantitis.

Dr. Stathopoulou is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and an attending periodontist in the Penn Dental Faculty Practices.
